What Matters Most?

A new saying in our home is, "Let's be the type of family that says the things that need to be said and does the things that need to be done." This is a goal of mine, because there are times that I left things unsaid or undone, and it caused harm. This way of thinking supports our kingdom mindset (Kingdom of God worldview) based on the verse "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." - Romans 12:2 ESV.

Say The Things That Need To Be Said

1. Speak the truth in love. 
2. Let words be used to build people up.
3. Encouragement and correction are both reflections of love.

Do The Things That Need To Be Done

1. If you're able to give now, why wait?
2. There is a time to play, and a time to work. Know the difference.
3. Everything you do, give it the best you can, for the glory of God.
